How many bags do Turkish Airlines allow?

1. Carry-on luggage:

• The maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage should be 21.6 x 15.7 x 9 inches (55 x 40 x 23 cm). 

• The maximum weight per item should be 17.6 pounds or 8 kg.

• Strollers are not allowed in the cabins.

• Infants are allowed 1 carry-on baggage not exceeding 8 Kg.

• Handy devices and outer garments are not counted as personal items.

• All carry-on luggages should fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. 

• You must lift your carry-on into the overhead storage without any assistance.

2. Checked baggage:

• You can carry 2 bags if you are travelling in a business class.

• The maximum dimension should be 32 kg and the maximum weight per item should be 158 cm.

• You are allowed to carry 2 bags in Economy class.

• The maximum dimension should be 23 kg and the maximum weight per item should be 158 cm but the two bags cannot exceed 273 cm in a combined form.

• Infants are allowed to carry 1 bag and 1 collapsible stroller.

• The maximum weight for each bag should be 23 kg and then the maximum dimension should be 115cm. 

• For baggage fees, you are supposed to use the airline baggage calculator.

3. Restricted Baggage:

• The baggage must not exceed 55 x 40 x 23 in size and 8 kg in weight and can carry one personal item like a bag per passenger should not be over 40 x 30 x 15 in size.

4. Sports equipment as baggage:

• Sports equipment can be carried as checked baggage and carried in aircraft holders. 

• The Sports equipment should not exceed 32 kg should be cut across two pieces of baggage, and each piece will be charged separately.

5. Turkish airlines delayed, damaged, and missing items:

• If the passenger baggage is lost, damaged, or delayed, then you can connect to the Lost property Office at the destination airport. 

• Once you begin your journey and baggage details on the Lost property office, you will get a reference number.

• From that reference number, you can easily monitor or track the status of your lost, delayed or missing baggage.
